Ophir Kickstarter

June 30th - via: boardgamequest.com
Last year, Terra Nova Games made their Kickstarter debut with a small game called Guile. The campaign ended up successfully funding and the backers are now happily enjoying their game. Recently, Terra Nova Games jumped back on Kickstarter with a brand new offering and it’s a much bigger game this time. Ophir is a euro game (with some gorgeous artwork I might add) where players are singularly tasked with constructing a large temple in the region. The game combines the mechanics of set collection, pick-up-and-deliver, and resource management into a unique game that still plays in under an hour. (Read More)

Game Review: Ophir

June 14th - via: ifyougiveageekagame.com
Have you ever fallen in love with a game so much that it’s all you talk about for a day or two afterwards? For me, that was Ophir when I demoed it with Charles, one of the designers, at Geekway. I had been hearing about it online for weeks prior to the convention, and I can definitely say that it lived up to all of the hype. Terra Nova Games launched Ophir on Kickstarter earlier this week, so now is the opportune time to share the wonderful experience that is in this box! (Read More)
