'The Last Blockbuster' Filmmakers Are Looking For Russell Crowe's Missing Jock Strap

The filmmakers behind the documentary film The Last Blockbuster are trying to track down Russell Crowe's missing jock strap from Cinderella Man.
While making the documentary, currently on Kickstarter, director Taylor Morden and producer Zeke Kamm were tracking down the movie memorabilia that had been sent to the second-to-last Blockbuster in Alaska by Last Week Tonight host John Oliver. While some of the Russell Crowe memorabilia is on its way to the last surviving Blockbuster in Bend, Oregon, the filmmakers were shocked to discover that the whereabouts of the infamous 'jock strap' are currently unknown. Last Blockbuster Documentary KickStarter Offers Fans a Chance to Work There

Bend, Oregon is the site of the last surviving Blockbuster Video store and now there's a documentary in the works titled, The Last Blockbuster. Back at the beginning of the year, there were a total of 8 stores that were still open across the country, down from 9,000 back in their heyday. However, in the last 7 months, seven of the stores have all been forced to close, including the location in Anchorage, Alaska that John Oliver and Last Week Tonight donated all of the Russell Crowe memorabilia to.
