A while ago, I lived next to the Occupy Wall Street Movement in the Financial District. It never really made sense to me as to why they were at Zuccotti Park instead of Wall Street... I guess maybe there were too many cops there or something. Regardless, it was an interesting movement. I'm not one for protesting though. I probably would've been up for it when I was sixteen, but I'm too old and too tired and too sick. Besides, I like being a "trendy-ass poser" (sic: 'SLC Punk'). Walking down the Financial District now, you can still see the remnants of the movement. Women and men (many who looked like junkies) sleeping outside in the cold in one of the biggest tourist New York traps other than Times Square. (Read More)
