Sentris Early Access Review

August 28th - via: cliqist.com
Rhythm and music-based games have always been close to my heart. Throughout the years people talked as if the genre died with Rock Band and Guitar Hero, but that was neither the start nor end of a much longer-lived phenomenon. Sentris exists as a modern rhythm game but also something more. The “more” bit might not make sense to people who approach it from a pure gamer perspective, but hopefully by spending a little time with Sentris they’ll be able to appreciate this more. (Read More)

The Weblog Sentris aims to emulate the feeling of creating music

November 20th - via: indiegames.com
Creating music is a fulfilling and rewarding act, but it's not something everyone has the ability to do. Samantha Kalman believes that everyone should be able to experience this feeling, so she is aiming to bestow it upon the masses with her upcoming rhythm game Sentris. I was able to chat with Kalman about the project and learn a little more about what makes Sentris tick. (Read More)

Sentris Is A Puzzle Game About Making Music

October 29th - via: rockpapershotgun.com
In recent years I’ve become something of a rhythm game junkie, but I have to say, the core of the genre is starting to feel a bit rotten – or at least stale. By and large, it’s the same basic idea: play along to your music. Run, jump, fight, or dodge while backgrounds morph, dance, and burst with color. I’m hardly burnt out on games like Soundodger, Crypt of the NecroDancer, Audiosurf, and the like, but I do think there’s room for something different, something more. That in mind, I really like where Sentris is headed. (Read More)
