t seems like every other board game these days is being funded through Kickstarter and I think that’s awesome. Play Tested: Dungeon Roll Dice Game From Kickstarter

March 13th - via: tested.com
The folks at Tasty Minstrel (the folks behind Eminent Domain) sent me a prototype version of their now wildly-successful-on-Kickstarter dice game, Dungeon Roll. Kickstarter Alert: Dungeon Roll Dice Game

March 12th - via: blackgate.com
Tasty Minstrel Game’s latest Kickstarter project has blown away funding goals and, with a week left, looks to be one of the best Kickstarter deals that I’ve seen in quite some time. This game is basically a dice-based dungeon crawl in a box (a treasure box, no less … and a mimic box for Kickstarters!) that has 7 days to go as of this writing (funds at 1:00 am Eastern on March 20). (Read More)

Prototype Review: Dungeon Roll—Pass the Time and Kill Some Monsters

March 4th - via: gfbrobot.com
It’s usually hard for me to judge and rate dice games. On the one hand, dice can be super fun – bringing a quick thrill that might be absent from longer, deeper games. But, I typically would never choose a quick dice fest over a more substantive euro efficiency game. Yes, I like my cubes to be painted wood and wholly without pips. That said, sometimes a dice game is pretty darn good regardless. It’s a small club, but it looks like Dungeon Roll may be the newest member. (Read More)

Dungeon Roll Game Review (prepublished version)

March 4th - via: fathergeek.com
Legends are born from great deeds forged in the fires of trials and tribulations. A group of adventurers have gathered at the entrance to a dungeon known to be deep, dark, and full of monsters. Some come to make a name for themselves, while others just want to get rich. Whatever their motivation, they are willing to risk it all for the treasure that lies hidden below. Weapons drawn, they begin their journey downward that will either end in fame and fortune or doom. (Read More)

Dungeon Roll Preview

Today's post will be about a dice rolling game that Tasty Minstrel Games currently is running a Kickstarter campaign for - Dungeon Roll. They have provided me with a prototype of this game, which obviously means that it does not include the final components. Though I'm pretty confident that the core game won't be changing, I would guess that some minor things like character balance and treasure token breakdown may change, so I'm going to classify this as a "preview" instead of a full fledged review. (Read More)
