To our dismay, tabletop projects on Kickstarter seem to be getting more and more polarized. There is a very dedicated audience of wargamers and other hardcore gamers that scoop up their favorite projects in record numbers, while casual games consistently struggle. For instance, the Toughest Girls of the Galaxy line of miniatures recently reached its $12K funding goal in 30 seconds! It often takes weeks for a casual game to reach that amount, if ever.
