Well I must say it has been a great past week in so many ways! We are over 40% funded!! 30% is the first big number to hit on a Kickstarter Campaign because 70% of all Kickstarter Projects that hit 30% are funded successfully. The next big number to... (Read More)

Paradise Fallen Game Review (prepublished version)

April 27th - via: fathergeek.com
It happened quickly and without warning. The “End”. In a flash, everything I took for granted had vanished. Technology luxury, safety…all gone. Now I fight to survive and I am not alone in this struggle. There are others…there are always others…who will either help or look to harm. I must be careful. What was once a paradise and a destination for relaxation has become a testing ground to challenge the strong and bury the weak. I, for one, don’t plan on going down without a fight. (Read More)

You Gotta Get Up and Try

CRASH GOES TO THE BEACH: A PARADISE FALLEN PREVIEW

April 24th - via: thegreencouch.wordpress.com
I have never been to Hawaii, but if it’s anything like the post-apocalyptic vision from Crash Games’ upcoming title, Paradise Fallen, I think I’d rather stay away. The beauty of the islands call out to me but the lack of supplies, savage tribes, and disruptions in the natural order of time and space doesn’t make for the type of quaint vacation spot I’d hope for. While I’d be too much of a sissy to visit this fallen version of paradise for a little fun-in-the-sun, it does make a great theme for a board game! And a good one at that! (Read More)

Anthony's Corner: Paradise Fallen

April 23rd - via: cbjpodcast.com
When we think of Hawaii we think of a lush tropical paradise where we would like to spend long days walking the white sand beaches or maybe about those infamous Brady Bunch cursed tiki episodes but it took the mind of Patrick Nickell to make into a post apocalyptic struggle for survival battleground. (Patrick keep making games because I don't think the Hawaiian Department of Tourism will be calling any time soon) (Read More)

Shut Up & Sit Down | Games News!

April 15th - via: susd.pretend-money.com
he other week I was in a board game shop, doing my thing, when the girl I was with asked where the games were that weren't oppressively nerdy. Her and I aren't talking anymore, obviously, which is annoying because this week's news features NOTHING but games with approachable themes. Not so much as ONE grimy alien or breastplate in sight (Read More)
