March 28th - via: kickstarter.com
Ship coins are almost done... I got a stack of ship coin proofs back today. I'm sharing them with you as-is, so you can get a feel for where we are. These look pretty good,  but I had a LOT of changes. Here's one of the proofs after I marked it up... (Read More)

March 24th - via: kickstarter.com
All the Pledge Manager links have been sent!  We've had over 600 responses already, so nearly 25% of you are already ordered up and checked out. This is awesome, and potentially escalates the speed with which we can start ordering coins. And now, a... (Read More)

And Now, Three Days of Patience...

March 22nd - via: kickstarter.com
We've funded, over-funded, and hyper-funded. You've unlocked everything I could think of, and forced me to think of so many new things I'm actually going to get fresh stories out of this. But it is DONE.  Next up? Three days of patience, wherein... (Read More)

So I Guess You Want a Ship?

March 18th - via: kickstarter.com
We passed Stretch #10 today, which is where I promised you I'd add a ship coin to the add-ons. I've hit a small snag. I still have a book to get out the door, and the bonus material is sucking all kinds of creative cycles. I doubt I can turn the... (Read More)

Call for Papers

March 12th - via: schlockmercenary.com
I am new to the challenge coin tradition, and like most newbies to a discipline, I've taken to researching it in order to avoid stepping on toes. I have never been issued a coin, I've never been present at a challenge, and I've only personally seen two such coins prior to launching this project, but now I'm approaching the level of "armchair expert." I know the history of the things, including some key points in which the practices have changed, and I've learned that saying "the challenge coin tradition" these days is wildly inaccurate -- there appear to be far more "traditions" here than there are branches of service. (Read More)
