This week at CAT we have launched a Kickstarter project to raise cash to take a replica Bronze Age boat to sea. Last year, as part of a tri-national project, we oversaw the construction of a half-scale replica of the Dover Bronze Age boat. When completed, we attempted to float the boat in Dover harbour, but ran out of time to make it seaworthy. In fact we only had a matter of hours following its construction – and that proved to be nowhere near enough. (Read More)
