6 Days and a Wake Up

March 3rd - via: kickstarter.com
One week to go. I'm not sure why I thought it was 11 days to go the other night. Having a pair of hyperactive toddlers around during snowy weather seems to have impacted my cognitive capacity like a mitten on a hard drive. We had another backer... (Read More)

R.I.P. Leonard

Stay on Target

February 27th - via: kickstarter.com
We're more than halfway done.  We've already raised more money than my most optimistic estimate.  I can pay for the game to be printed, and we'll have enough left over to pay for the art for my next title.I'm pretty happy with how things have gone... (Read More)

Day Seven

February 16th - via: kickstarter.com
So five days ago I issued a challenge: If we could get to $5,000 dollars by today, I would add two more cards to the game. How did that turn out? Just shy of $9,000. 80% in less than a week. We are doing pretty darn good. We have a new card to add to... (Read More)

Now On Kickstarter “Redshirts 2: Leprechauns Revenge”

February 16th - via: dicetowernews.com
After nearly 15 months worth of waiting fans of the game Redshirts can finally get some expansions. Weaselpants Productions has launched “Redshirts 2: Leprechauns Revenge” on Kickstarter. Additionally they have a pledge level that will give you “Redshirts 3: Beating a Red Horse” as well. Included with nearly every pledge level are 8 internet “celebrity” cards that you can play with ranging from Jonathan Coulton (JoCo) to David Reddick. These expansions seem to be following in the great jocular punny vein that the original game featured. (Read More)

Kickstarter News! And you can murder me, Mike Williamson, or Howard Tayler!

February 16th - via: monsterhunternation.com
That’s (metaphorically) murder me. Better clarify. Though depending on the target audience, I’m betting he could raise a whole lot of money with that pledge level! Redshirts is one of those awesome card games where you get together with your friends and try to screw each other over. Your goal is to kill all your crew, because that’s how starship captains know they had the best adventure. (Read More)

Five Days Down

February 14th - via: kickstarter.com
Five days in, and we are hovering around 44% funding. Not bad so far, at this rate we should hit the goal by the end of the campaign. We're less than $200 away from dropping a few extra cards in, we look likely to hit that goal. Which is awesome,... (Read More)

So that worked out better than I planned.

February 12th - via: kickstarter.com

Day 2

February 11th - via: kickstarter.com
So here we are on day 2. Progress seems to have slowed down quite a bit. I'm doing my part, searching the various corners of the internet, and ruthlessly cramming information about the game in. But I can't do it alone. Which is where you folks come... (Read More)

Day One

February 10th - via: kickstarter.com
Well let's tally up how we did.  $2053. Not bad for the first 12 hours.    18% of our goal in the first day. That's just about one fifth of the way there.   Now all we need is for each of you to help find four more people to bid at the same level... (Read More)
