tinyBuild Cancels Kickstarter Jet-Getters' $50,000 Campaign

It may have reached its goal of $50,000 through its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, but it seems the Jet-Getters’ developer tinyBuild may have found an investor afterall. While the project will move forward and spend time bringing those partners up to speed and hiring additional people, this means theretinyBuild would be more development time. (Read More)

tinyBuild has canceled the JetGetters Kickstarter thanks to an angel investor

JetGetters, the crowdfunded multiplayer game of my dreams, has just canceled their Kickstarter. Because someone decided to give them a ton of money to make the game. Between GDC and PAX, an angel investor came in to cover the cost of development, obviously negating their crowdfunding needs. Additionally the development cycle has been delayed slightly so tinyBuild will have more time to polish the project. (Read More)

“We are about to reveal a new game!” No Time To Explain dev/burgeoning indie publisher Alex Nichiporchik told me over Skype. Almost reflexively, I braced myself for an excited slurry spew about some crazy new platformer or a zany comedy adventure or an emotional tale that would rock me to my very core. “It’s basically a fusion of Just Cause 2 and Battlefield 3,” he proceeded to tell me. “…Oh,” I replied, briefly mistaking a flock of birds fluttering by outside for a car tethered to a plane with a wildman surfing atop it, as I often do. “Go on.” And so he did.
