The Kickstarter for Harebrained Schemes' tabletop tactics title, Golem Arcana, is live and seeking $500,000 in funding.
Golem Arcana is a "digitally enhanced" miniatures game that tracks record keeping for rules, attacks, movements and more. Backers looking for rewards can contribute in tiers of $10 to $2,000. Those who donate on the first tier will be able to purchase items from the Optional Items Menu product list, while $55 is the "early bird special" and adds the base game. Other rewards include figurines, beta access and more.
Harebrained Schemes announced Golem Arcana back in July. According to founder Jordan Weisman, it was "tempting" to begin a project similar to Shadowrun Returns, but the developer felt it was "the right time to launch a new Harebrained Scheme."
At the time of this posting, the campaign has raised more than $84,000 of its goal. Funding efforts end Oct. 15 at 8 a.m. ET. Golem Arcana is currently being developed for Windows PC, Mac and iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. For more on the game, check out the video above.
