In the past year, Yami Hu has been turning her dream into reality by expanding ready-to-drink coffee distribution to specialty grocery stores, gas stations, bakeries, and even the Independence Grove Forest Preserve in Libertyville. With overwhelming community support and persistent customer inquiries about opening a brick-and-mortar space, Yami embarked on a quest to establish the first-of-its-kind coffee brewery in Lindenhurst, a northern suburb of Chicago.
Once completed, this community-centric, cozy cafe will serve as a gathering place, host events, and provide a conducive environment for remote workers. Besides their delicious cold brew on tap, they will also serve teas, pastries, sandwiches, empanadas and more from other local market vendors.
Currently offering four classic flavors of nitro cold brew in cans: French Vanilla, Caramel, Irish Cream, and Black Unsweetened, 3Legged Coffee Brewery aims to raise funds through their Kickstarter Campaign with a goal of $15,000. The funds raised will support the production of their next generation of canned coffee and the launch of a new line of bagged coffee.
In appreciation of donations to the campaign, 3Legged Coffee Brewery offers a range of rewards, including a Party for 10, hands-on coffee brewing sessions, free drinks for a year, gift cards, branded merch, a complimentary coffee subscription box delivered quarterly for a year and more.
Yami and Jeremy are huge animal lovers and although Mogwai sadly passed away last week, 3Legged Brewing remains committed to honoring her legacy by supporting local animal shelters and rescuers, allocating five percent of all sales from their next-generation coffee towards charities that support animal welfare.
