Sharge touts its latest product as the best way to turn up to 2TB of M.2 NVMe SSD storage into a "tiny, lightweight" everyday-carry accessory. It consists of an aluminum enclosure for such a card with a volume touted as equivalent to that of a couple of bottlecaps, designed to fit into a custom silicone bumper with a lanyard that also doubles as a data cable. The Disk also features a male USB type-C to plug into a compatible laptop, smartphone, camera or console by itself for transfer speeds of up to 1GB per second (Gb/s).

Sharge asserts that you can divest yourself of you bulky old portable storage solutions and messy cables with its new Disk. The OEM, possibly best known for its Shargeek transparent-chic accessory brand, has designed this new enclosure to help a user keep an NVMe SSD of up to 2TB in size on them at all times.

The Disk has a design that might go well with of the Storm power bank series, and also allows the user to open it to install or swap out the SSD of their choice in a tool-free manner.

The company asserts that it has a footprint shaved down to about half that of a credit card, yet retains the ability to read or write data at up to 1Gb/s - although this rating may depend on the specs of the SSD and/or connected device in question. Accordingly, it is backed to transfer even a ~70GB game in less than 80 seconds, or to support direct on-disk tasks such as on-the-go editing on one's ultrabook.

Those use-cases in a chassis that small imply the chances of overheating - however, Sharge asserts that the Disk's "Active Heat Dissipation System" will address those risks with its own little 1,300rpm "silent" fan. The accessory also has a physical "Lock" switch for "Write Protection" in risky situations such as shared device use.

Sharge has also equipped the Disk with a male type-C connector for more of an all-in-one external SSD experience - however, in the event it still can't fit, its in-built lanyard is also a flat type-C to -C cable in disguise. It is attached to a "2-meter drop-proof" silicone case finished in either gray or Shargeek yellow.

The Sharge Disk has just debuted on Kickstarter, yet has attracted just over US$200,000 in backing at the time of writing. It currently starts at US$29 without an SSD.
