Rebecca Salmins hoped to raise $25K for her bracelet business to help cancer survivors. She blew past that goal with 17 days to go.
WYCKOFF, N.J. — Rebecca Salmins' Kickstarter campaign has not only reached her goal of raising $25,000 for her cancer-fighting bracelet business, she's blown it out of the water.
Salmins is a 9-year-old cancer survivor. She is a leukemia survivor and went through hundreds of days of chemotherapy. Her father Gerhard was diagnosed with cancer as a young adult. They were both treated at Hackensack University Medical Center and have worked with Eli Manning to raise $4 million for the Tackle Kids Cancer Foundation.
