According to the stories some time ago men found a mysterious rock with hieroglyphs on it, indicating a treasure in the general area. Since then, treasure hunters from all over the world have come to Oak Island to find this treasure, with up to six of them losing their lives in the process. Das Spiel basiert auf der Legende von Oak Island, auf der ein Schatz vermutet wird. Die Legende fußt auf einem Fund aus dem Jahre 1795. Seinerzeit fanden drei Männer einen Stein mit Inschriften und Hieroglyphen, der auf den Schatz verweist.
