Abbey Games, developer of god game Reus and exploration game Renowned Explorers, has already fully-funded its next game, Godhood, in which you design your own religion from scratch and teach your followers right from wrong. It's due to release into Early Access in May, but Abbey Games took to Kickstarter this week to secure funding for a few extras, including playable ancient eldritch gods, complete with their own cults. (Read More)

Dutch indie developers Abbey Games (Reus) is turning to Kickstarter for funding to add more content to their upcoming god simulator Godhood. Abbey Games says they currently have enough funding to release the game on Steam Early Access, which is currently planned for May 2019. It looks like they expect to fund the completion of the game using profits from Steam Early Access, but the early access period would strictly be for bug stomping and polishing. (Read More)
