People always talk about the burgeoning startup community in D.C. picking up momentum, and how the current tech movement is setting new precedents for the level of innovation in this city. It's easy to talk in generalities about how far D.C. Tech has come or throw around a bunch of buzzwords that describe the kind of products these startups are working on, but we are yet to be provided with an insider's view of the actual day-to-day rigors and personal struggles each of these companies go through as founders.
