Knite and the Ghost Lights Faces Legal Troubles

July 21st - via: cliqist.com
It seems to be the season of unexpected setbacks for many of our beloved game developers and it saddens me to see life throwing so many curveballs. Unfortunately, Mobot Studios, developers of Knite and the Ghost Lights are not immune to this cycle of bad luck that’s been going around. (Read More)

Welcome to Misland – June Edition

July 1st - via: cliqist.com
Many times the Knitemire elder had warned me from venturing off too far away, especially towards the Old Graveyard. The restraints of Knitemire are oppressive and could rob an individual of their exploratory nature. Though I understand I have a responsibility carried down by generations and currently am the only one carrying it along, I don’t feel the need to hold back and cower from the dangers outside the village’s borders. It’s that type of thinking that leads to a life of caution, regret, and dreadful discomfort. (Read More)

Welcome to Misland – May Edition

May 23rd - via: cliqist.com
“My precious child,” the elder began with her voice shaking, “It’s just about time for you to prepare yourself for your ultimate responsibility.” Though she spoke most eloquently and with such beautiful language, the elder always sounded like she struggled to put out her words. It’s as if everything spoken were something of grave importance that the very uttering of stole every bit of energy she could muster. But still, the elder always made a point to educate the marsh imps about their past, which was a crucial thing to do. Passing down the traditions and history of our ancestors will continue those traditions and prevent any previous mistakes from coming along. She knew this and told stories to the young imps on a nightly basis. (Read More)

Welcome to Misland – April Edition

April 23rd - via: cliqist.com
“It was many, many years ago when we migrated from the ancient island, Grea.” Despite her frail, elderly body her voice carried a presence that could catch any villager’s attention. Something about this elder emanated wisdom and grace. The young marsh imps were absolutely captivated by speaking. (Read More)

Knite & The Ghost Lights Awaits You

February 5th - via: cliqist.com
The room is illuminated only by the computer monitor in front of you. Upon the screen is a welcoming menu that takes up the entire monitor, inviting you to play. The background looks like a scene from a stop motion animated film. With its vibrant, rich colors and ambient music, it is completely captivating and tempting. The urge to move the cursor over to the ‘new game’ button grows stronger. (Read More)

Bewitching Adventure Knite & The Ghost Lights Is Confirmed For Wii U eShop Release

October 21st - via: nintendolife.com
Knite & The Ghost Lights is one of the most unique looking titles we've seen on Kickstarter yet, and its creators are aiming to release a Wii U port "close to launch". Developed by Mobot Studios — which is also behind Paper Monsters — the game offers a mixture of "adventure, storytelling, and action" along the same lines as classics such as Metroid and Castlevania, but its most striking asset is its visuals — everything in the game is handcrafted using real-life models which are then digitised to be used in the game. (Read More)

Budget Backer – October 2013

October 15th - via: cliqist.com
Being a crowdfunding backer can be a bit stressful, it seems like every day there’s a new project worth giving some money to. But what about bills? If spending money on games is irresponsible, then spending money on crowdfunding can be doubly so since there’s no guarantee you’ll actually get anything for it. (Read More)
