A little over a year ago, a few colleagues of mine at work were frustrated. We were all comic store employees, and some of us wanted to make comics. We felt that there was the potential for us to tell unique stories, especially given our diversity. Some of us are minorities (I am a Chinese-American myself), and some are LGBTQIA+. Our colleague Jason, who has editorial experience in comics, pitched the idea of an anthology. It would be one where we told stories in a shared universe, and we all thought it was a great idea.
