New Cornerstone Footage Released

February 4th - via: cliqist.com
The guys at Ascension Games have been busy plugging away at their cutesy adventure RPG Cornerstone: The Song of Tyrim since it was successfully Kickstarted back in October 2013. Their campaign was a bit of a frustrating nail biter since they had most everything going for them; a great looking game, a number of unique features, and even a playable demo. With that they still just barely managed to hit their $30,000 funding target, coming in with only an extra $1,448. (Read More)

Cornerstone’s Kickstarter Has A Demo And A Few Days

October 22nd - via: rockpapershotgun.com
Cornerstone: The Song Of Tyrim, which is being pitched by its devs as looking like Zelda but playing more like Dark Souls, has a demo out, so you can judge that particular blend of look and genre for yourself. Unfortunately, the demo crashed out for those of us from RPS who tried it, which seemed like a shame, because the game is filled the very brim with hot promise, as you can see in gameplay videos below. (Read More)

Kickstarting Cornerstone: The Song of Tyrim

September 27th - via: indiegames.com
Open world action adventures with RPG elements, you know, games not wholly dissimilar to the Zeldas of the past decade, always seemed too huge and expensive to be produced the indie way, though it does seem that Ascension Games are willing to actually make one. Provided, I suppose, their Cornerstone: The Song of Tyrim kickstarer campaign reaches its modest funding goal and their already impressive pre-alpha work doesn't get destroyed by evil goblins. (Read More)

Kickstart This - Cornerstone: The Song Of Tyrim

September 26th - via: indiestatik.com
I‘ve just realized that we already have three articles covering Cornerstone: The Song of Tyrim on Statik, making this the fourth. There’s a good reason for that. Ahem. “Wind Waker meets Dark Souls.” That’s all you need to know, isn’t it? It looks like Wind Waker, plays a lot like it too, but has taken some elements from Dark Souls to spice it up. If that’s enough for you to throw your money purse at the screen, then feel free to go do that over on the game’s Kickstarter page. (Read More)
