Girls star Zosia Mamet launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the music video for her band, The Cabin Sisters, with her half-sister Clara Mamet.

The ladies hope that the video for "Bleak Love" raises $32,000, but as yet the cause has only pulled together $1,930 in a few days.

Mamet's BFF Lena Dunham has even tried to drum up some interest via Twitter.

She wrote, " Zosia is making a very un-Shosh like music video (with a little help from her friends)."

Dunham later clarified her tweet by adding, "That's just to say, not sure about Kickstarter yet (though I do believe it can coexist w/charity) but am sure I love my friend and coworker!"

Mamet isn't the only celeb to have some Kickstarter troubles. Last month Melissa Joan Hart shut down her failed campaign to fund a romantic comedy.

On the flip side, Zach Braff's upcoming flick and the film adaptation of Veronica Mars hit major success with their respective campaigns.

What do you think about Mamet's campaign?
