The Realm developers will go another round on Kickstarter

Point-and-click adventure game, Realm, failed to hit its Kickstarter funding goal today. Not wanting to concede, the creators plan to return to Kickstarter later in the year to try again.

The game's developers put the failure down to lack of U.S. backing, even though the the campaign was one of the top funded U.K. Kickstarter titles. The Realm reached £94,527 of its £195,000 funding goal, with 3,384 backers. Courtesy of Polygon.

Atomhawk Design and Lantern Interactive, the developers of the game, now plan to return later in the year with a U.S. Kickstarter account in another attempt at funding the game.

A mailing list has been setup and Facebook page is available for anyone wanting to keep track of any movements.
