If you want to take a break from staring at your PC screen but still want to get your Secret Worlds fix, then you might want to keep an eye out for Star Anvil Studios’ The Secret World tabletop RPG.

The tabletop game is still currently in the works and is being funded through a $40,000 Kickstarter campaign that kicked off earlier this week. The campaign easily cleared its initial funding goal on the very first day and has now accrued over $70,000 as of this writing.

A digital copy of the game will set you back $40 when it comes out, which includes the source book, power deck, and art book. A physical printed version will also be available for $60 excluding shipping and handling fees. Stretch goals on Kickstarter include additional source book material, monster deck PDFs for all backers who’ve pledged at least $40, more artwork, and more monsters all of which have now been unlocked. Stretch goals that have yet to be unlocked include a pre-gen pack and an 8-page intro adventure for eligible backers.

Joshua Doetsch, one of the writers of The Secret World, is working with Star Anvil on the project while Funcom is content to just let the studio do its thing.
