If you’re interested in the history of Mortal Kombat, a new trilogy of books is in the works that you’ll definitely want in your collection.

David L. Craddock’s Long Live Mortal Kombat trilogy chronicles the development of the Mortal Kombat franchise over several eras. At over 200,000 words, the first book recounts the origin story of the franchise and the careers of co-creators Ed Boon and John Tobias through the release of 1997’s Mortal Kombat 4, the final installment developed for arcade hardware.

Craddock is looking to bring in $10k to make the first book happen, and you can help him reach that goal through Kickstarter.
