Chasm ends Kickstarter campaign, pre-orders will continue to contribute to stretch goals

Action role-playing game Chasm ended its Kickstarter campaign with $191,897, well past its funding goal of $150,000, and is now available for pre-order.

The Kickstarter for the 2D Metroid-style role-playing game was funded with the help of 6,938 backers. Chasm achieved two of its 10 stretch goals and will include an extended soundtrack and achievements. Unfulfilled stretch goals include crafting, Arena Mode, New Game+ and a gender swap option.

Those who choose to pre-order Chasm can do so through the game's website. Pre-orders are available in Bronze ($15), Silver ($25) or Gold ($45) pricing options and include different rewards. Those who purchase the Silver level game will receive rewards such as a digital soundtrack and early access to the game's alpha, while the Gold purchase will add a PDF compendium of art, an extended digital soundtrack and more. All pre-order profits will be applied toward Chasm's remaining Kickstarter stretch goals.

Chasm surpassed its Kickstarter goal last week and will be released for Windows PC, Mac and Linux. The game is also collecting votes on Steam Greenlight. Check out our interview with Discord games founder and producer James Petruzzi here.
