Comic book writers Mike Tener and Alex Maday (the creators of Midnight Highway) have returned to Kickstarter for Midnight Highway #2. Joining them for another round of ceremoniously weird horror is artist Alexander Malyshev, colorist Alexander Malyshev, and letter Dave Lentz.

Midnight Highway #2 is perfect for fans of Tales from the Crypt, Stranger Things, The Thing, and In the Mouth of Madness, just to name some of the many notable works this release will appeal to.

Midnight Highway follows the misadventures of Alex, a teenage boy lost on a mysterious, supernatural road where anything can and will happen. In the first issue, Alex stumbles onto the Midnight Highway after escaping a horrifying creature in a high speed chase through a lightning storm. In the latest issue, Alex finds himself in a haunted arcade, forced to play a game called “The Gauntlet” for a chance to get back home to Kelly, the love of his life, or continue to hopelessly wander the endless Midnight Highway.

Following in the footsteps of Issue 1, mastermind artist Mateo Fuentes returns to deliver a jaw-dropping, immersive experience with this full 3D version of Issue 2! Each copy comes with a complimentary pair of 3D glasses. An excitingly nostalgic way to experience this comic book and the story as it was intended to be consumed.

The Midnight Highway #2 Kickstarter campaign boasts a wide range of crowdfunding support tiers for horror fans looking to sink their teeth into. From Holofoil covers to 3D artwork and T-Shirts to VHS Covers. With 17 days left, the project has met its goal, but you can still support the Kickstarter Campaign, and these awesome indie comic writers and artists, by heading here.
