Today’s Fandom Funding is the boardgame “Set a Watch: Swords of the Coin.”
Set a Watch: Swords of the Coin is a 60-90 minute cooperative adventure puzzle game for 1-4 players. Swords of the Coin is a standalone expansion featuring the same critically-acclaimed gameplay along with some new twists centered around collecting coin and buying items from the merchant. The expansion is fully compatible with the original game’s creatures, locations, and characters, which can all be mixed and matched together with the original Set a Watch.
If you’re unfamiliar with the original game, Set a Watch is a cooperative game where you must combat fiendish creatures at nine locations while keeping your campfire burning. Every round you will visit a new location and pick an adventurer to rest and take camp actions. The adventurers on watch attempt to clear a line of creatures with their dice and abilities. The original deluxe game became a reality thanks to over 5,800 backers and features 8 different adventurer classes.
The Kickstarter campaign has been fully funded on day one! That doesn’t mean the campaigning is done. Rock Manor Games are hoping you can help them with some stretch goals.
Let’s talk about the different pledge tiers, so you can decide which one is right for you.
For a pledge of $28 or more, you will receive a copy of the Swords of the Coin expansion pack, which includes all unlocked stretch goals.
Pledging $44 or more qualifies you for the Cult of the New tier. In this tier, you get everything mentioned above and the Outriders expansion and the Cloth Play Mat.
The Rookie Adventurer tier requires a pledge of $59 or more. You will receive a Deluxe edition of Set a Watch, the Swords of the Coin expansion, and all unlocked stretch goals.
Wanting to contribute more? The All-In-Bundle for a pledge of $75 or more offers the Deluxe edition of Set a Watch, the Swords of the Coin expansion, the Outriders expansion, the Cloth Play Mat, and all unlocked stretch goals.
You can also pledge any amount without receiving a reward if you so choose.
