Beadle & Grimm's upcoming Character Chronicles Kickstarter will give you a wholly unique way to celebrate the life--and likely death--of your Pathfinder 2e character.
D&D might be the tabletop RPG that gets all the chicks, but Pathfinder 2e is well on its way to stealing D&D's girl. Pathfinder just recently got its Advanced Player's Guide with new character classes and ancestries like cat and crow-folk, as well as new Archetypes to further define your hero's journey.
And while D&D continues to dive deeper into technological enhancements like virtual dice on D&D Beyond, Pathfinder is keeping things old school.
The upcoming "Character Chronicles" from California-based game store Beadle & Grimm will give Pathfinder characters something that most tabletop players had to make on their own: a full-size character journal complete with character sheets, spell sheets, and more.
The Character Chronicles goes beyond just replacing a binder full of loose printouts. Besides having gorgeous, full-color pages devoted to the classic character sheets, the Character Chronicles also includes pages full of original art, birth and death certificates, and the complete rules for your character class from both Pathfinder 2e's Players Guide and Advanced Player's Guide.
On top of that, the Character Chronicles also includes blank pages for scribbling, drawing, doing complex math, writing down fabulous incantations, or just doodling. Grids allow for handmade maps while knee-deep in a dungeon or for making drawings of distinctly cubic monsters.
And once your character either retires or dies, you'll have a memento of their life to plant in your bookshelf and never look at again.
Beadle & Grimm will Kickstart their Character Chronicles later this Fall starting with four classes: Wizard, Fighter, Cleric, and Rogue. If things go well, they'll do another Kickstarter with more classes to come later.
