The total tally has now passed $2.45 million, unlocking the “Honest Soldier” stretch goal. This means the game now has 104 heroes including a new one named Maxim.

Here’s how he is described, even if we can likely expect more details soon. You can see what he looks like at the bottom of the post.

“Maxim Joins – Earnest to a fault and idealistic, this second lieutenant in the League of Nations will join at this stretch goal, bringing the total heroes to 104.”

New stretch goals have been revealed. “New Shores” will unlock Korean localization at $2.5 million.

At $2.6 million the “Real Brass” goal will have a full orchestra perform the soundtrack.

At $2.7 million, we’ll unlock the “Words with Friends” goal, which has not been explained yet.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes’ campaign was launched on Kickstarter just a few days ago, reaching its basic founding goal in two hours and unlocking console platforms shortly after. The first two additional heroes unlocked by stretch goals have also been recently detailed.

As usual, the success of this campaign shouldn’t be too surprising considering that it brings back together Suikoden creators Yoshitaka Murayama and Junko Kawano, and appears to be a spiritual successor of the popular franchise.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will come to PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and a possible next-gen Nintendo platform in fall 2022.

You can still contribute to the campaign yourself at the official Kickstarter site.

For the sake of full disclosure, the author of this article has backed the game at a basic level in the first minutes of the campaign.
