The Umbrella Academy has enjoyed life as a critically acclaimed comic book series and as a Netflix original television series. Now, it will take a new form: a card game.

Studio71 Games is developing The Umbrella Academy card game in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics. In it, players will choose a different member of the Hargreeves family and utilize their special skills to battle several villains from the series.

"We are thrilled with the continued fan response and reception to The Umbrella Academy," comic creators Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba said in a statement. "Our love for these stories and characters is what makes us excited for you all to get to experience them first hand with the Studio71 Umbrella Academy Card Game."

Created by Way and Ba, The Umbrella Academy focuses on seven super-powered siblings who reunite after the death of their father to battle their own dysfunction while attempting to prevent the apocalypse. There have been three volumes in the comic series so far: The Apocalypse SuiteDallas and Hotel Oblivion.

The Umbrella Academy Card Game game is being funded via Kickstarter. At the time of writing, it has surpassed its $30,000 goal.
