Developer Romino Games recently took to Kickstarter to help fund an updated version of Wii U battler Swords & Soldiers, but it turns out one of the biggest features fans have been asking for is a Nintendo Switch port, but it's something the studio has been unable to factor into its campaign.
As a result, the dev has decided to pull the campaign early rather than continue on without a port that so many fans are wanting. The studio has said that while it's said to end the crowdfunding run, the PS4 and Steam versions of the Shawarmageddon update will still arrive later this year. And while it can't say too much about the future of a potential Switch port, it does hint that it could have some exciting news very soon.

Once again, Nintendo fans fund a game that isn't coming to Nintendo.
@Gold_Ranger funded what? it failed miserably, they won't charge your credit card since the campaign was a failure
Its still coming to PC and ps4. I didn't know that if a kickstarter ended early that the money didn't come out/go back.
I'm confused as the article seems to refer to both S&S 1 and 2. I really enjoyed the first game and was really excited for 2, but 2 was just one tutorial after another, it never felt like I Was playing the game. I might be tempted to buy 1 again on the Switch but I'd pass on 2.
Make something new - I'll fund it.
So, the PS4/PC still getting it now - and probably come with a new campaign and have the Switch owners fund the Switch version. 🙄
This game is crazy fun, but I got it from a Humble Bundle, so it doesn't bother me that much.
Enjoyed both games, but only with touch controls. Mouse can emulate that well but PS4 version is going to be awful with how quick you need to switch between things.
Would like even a port of just the first as enjoyed that more. Never really got into the story of the second and mainly did skirmishes.
Oh also. Sony is doomed. Port Station 4, getting Wii U dregs. Blabla.
I really enjoyed this on Switch. Would probably sell better on Switch than PS4.
