There is no denying that racing wheels for your gaming consoles can cost quite the pretty penny. Charging anywhere from hundreds of dollars, this gaming perhaps can be an expensive investment for gamers who like to immerse themselves in the genre fully. Fortunately, Feel VR's latest crowdfunding project aims to deliver high-end racing wheels at affordable prices.

According to the product's Kickstarter page, the manufacturer created the Feel VR Wheel to deliver the same ultra-realistic and highly immersive racing “feel” that is offered by professional-grade products, but make it accessible to those on a tight budget.

According to the company, Feel VR's racing wheel utilized Direct Drive, meaning that the wheel has been attached directly to the motor, cutting out the belt-drive and operating with an unmatched force, speed, and precision. To put it simply, this is the closest thing to a legitimate racing wheel the market has to offer.

Other notable features on the on the racing wheel includes a 1,000 Hz USB Data Rate, an unlimited rotation angle, as well as an adjustable RGB backlight. On top of that, the accessory also includes 32,000 counts per turn and 500 rotations per minute.

In addition to a new racing wheel, the Kickstarter also funded the new pedals, which implement an ultra-realistic Load Cell-based brake to enhance the experience even further. The decision to use load cell was due to how much it resembles car brakes found on a real-life automobile.
