It doesn't seem like so long ago when Steamforged Games' Kickstarter campaign for Resident Evil 2 - The Board Game got funded in under 60 minutes and broke the crowdfunding site in the process. Today, we can announce that the game's Kickstarter campaign has concluded and it wound-up meeting all of its stretch goals too!

Resident Evil 2 - The Board Game originally was originally asking for £150,000 (about $203,000) as the base funding for its development. That goal was quickly surpassed when the campaign launched. When the campaign ended today, it reached £800,561 (over  $1,050,000), more than enough to complete each of its prepared stretch goals.

There were 34 goals in all that Steamforged Games prepared for its crowdfunding efforts, the highest of which was the inclusion of a miniature figure depicting Kendo with a pistol for £800,000. Other notable stretch goal accomplishments included a miniature figure of Claire with a grenade launcher, a giant spider, and the evolved licker.

After its 28-day campaign, Steamforged Games announced the game as completely funded with the reveal of an image Resident Evil fans will surely recognize (seen below) and a thank you message to the community growing around the tabletop title. The message encourages those interested in continuing discussions about the game to visit the Steamforged Forums.

If you missed the Kickstarter, you still have a chance to get some of the exclusive backer content via the Steamforged Games website. This offer costs $100 and will only be available for a limited time.
