The E370 has already smashed its target on Kickstarter.

Synthesis Technology has launched a feature-packed new Eurorack synth module on Kickstarter, which the company claims is “the most technically advanced Euro oscillator available.”

The E370 Quad Morphing VCO is marked out by its four independent digital voltage-controlled oscillators. It also features a mode that allows you to morph between 64 different wavetables per oscillator, allowing for the creation of complex polyphonic sounds like those below.

There are a few extra features that make the E370 more advanced than the average Eurorack VCO module: a micro SD card slot, which can be used to load custom wavetables and save presets, and a full-color TFT display, which has an oscilloscope mode for showing each VCO’s output in real time.

As for connections, the E370 features CV inputs for controlling the FM, pitch and sync of each oscillator, and two inputs for controlling VCO modulation depending on the chosen mode. For example, in “cloud mode,” Mod A controls “spread” while Mod B controls “chaos”. There are also outputs for each VCO.

The E370 uses improved versions of algorithms from three Synthesis Technology modules: the E350 Morphing Terrarium, E340 Cloud Generator and E330 Multi-Mode VCO. It’s 54HP wide and has a target power consumption of +12V @155ma and -12V @40ma.

Despite only being launched on Kickstarter a few days ago, the E370 Quad Morphing VCO has already smashed its target of $58,000, raising over $103,000. The popularity of the module means that a stretch goal has been added, with the designers promising to add linear FM control if the campaign reaches $115,000.
