Boston Teen Author Festival Featured on Kickstarter

By Maryann Yin

Renee Combs has launched a Kickstarter campaign for the fifth annual Boston Teen Author Festival. She hopes to raise $2,500 for this book-themed event; attendees will be able to take part free of charge. We’ve embedded a video about this project above.

Here’s more from the Kickstarter web page: “New swag, shirts so you can spot the traffic-directing volunteers, programs, feeding the authors, and merchandise all add up more quickly than you’d think! The rest of our funds will be going toward these logistics and making sure the event runs as smoothly as possible for your enjoyment. If we somehow manage to raise more than $3,000, we’re working hard to become an official non-profit!”
