Gay-themed adventure game, Escape from Pleasure Planet, heads to Kickstarter, Steam Greenlight next week

Up Multimedia’s Escape from Pleasure Planet, the sequel to 2013’s My Ex-Boyfriend the Space Tyrant, is set to hit Kickstarter and Stream Greenlight next week.

The title will launch campaigns on both platforms on 29 June.

We asked Up Multimedia’s Luke Miller on how he was feeling ahead of the launch.

“Honestly? I’m nervous but I’m excited to finally be able to share the game with everyone. Gay game Kickstarters have been a mixed bag; I am a bit worried about … negative comments,” he said. “But I think fear of failure is not a reason for LGBTI developers to avoid Kickstarter and Greenlight. We need more gay games!”

We’ve interviewed Up Multimedia’s Luke Miller at length on Escape from Pleasure Planet, My Ex-Boyfriend the Space Tyrant and gay themes in games in the past.
