Last Sunday saw one of the most upsetting moments in perhaps the most upsetting television show of all time.

However, now’s your chance to commemorate the memory of the world’s finest doorman.

Quite predictably, a Kickstarter project offering a Hodor ‘Hold the door’ door stop has comfortably achieved its funding goal.

The laser-engraved unofficial Game of Thrones memorial item reading “Hodor” will keep any door of your choosing open.

Considering the late, great bodyguard/carer/ass-kicker’s job was to keep one closed, it doesn’t exactly make a lot of sense.

In this reality, all of those dead things would have run down Bran and Meera and that would have been that. Perhaps some sort of barricade in the shape of a 20-stone man would have been more apt?

Anyway, sod it, take our money, opportunistic home accessory maker.

The campaign’s head Todd Blatt says he’s already prepared for HBO to put the kibosh on the whole thing, but that hasn’t stopped 255 backers committing $7,159 for a $19 door stop.
