Here’s an Early Work-in-Progress Footage From Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

In an update for Kickstarter backers, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night developer Koji Igarashi showed off some work-in-progress footage from the game. In the video above, you can see Miriam with a Katana, running, kicking, and punching. According to Igarashi, rarely anyone outside of the development team gets to see something like this. The “grid map” on display is being used to “test stage size, scrolling mechanics, enemy placement, and more.” Check it out.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is expected to release in 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS Vita, Wii U and PC.
