The developer recently responded to reaction to its announcement for a Kickstarter campaign for Original Sin II.
Divinity: Original Sin II is a single-player or co-op RPG, featuring turn-based combat and taking place “generations” after the first Original Sin game. Up to four players can play cooperatively, or competitively.
“During competitive questing, you’’ll pursue different plot-lines from other players, often because your personal motivations are in conflict with those of the party.”Original Sin II will also feature a new dialog and crafting system, as well as a Skill Crafting system, allowing players to combine skills and spells for new upgraded abilities.
Larian Studios’ Kickstarter Campaign still has 34 days to go. Any backer over the $5 amount will receive alpha and beta test access, according to the studio.
Divinity: Original Sin II will release on PC. No release date has been given, but an estimated delivery date is listed as December 2016.
