A kitten.

The card game with more backers than any other project in the history of Kickstarter is now available on Amazon.com right here.

"Exploding Kittens" -- the "highly strategic kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette" -- raked in $8.8 million from a record 219,382 backers from 122 counties.

The creators set out to sell 500 copies of the game. They wound up selling 460,000. The project was 100% funded in 20 minutes. It was 1,000% funded in less than an hour.

It is undoubtedly the most popular card game since Cards Against Humanity.

Matthew Inman, creator of the online comic the Oatmeal, was the big draw behind the game. His quirky, distinctive art style has made him a viral sensation online.

The team has plans for expansion decks and modifier cards.
