Seth MacFarlane may be the creator of one of the most hilariously offensive animated series on television, but that doesn't make him a bad guy. He has vowed to match up to $1 million in pledges to the Kickstarter campaign for a new online version of "Reading Rainbow."

You Remember Reading Rainbow!

The show's original host started a campaign to bring the series back on May 28th and with 4 days left to go, he has already exceeded his $1 million goal by over $3 million dollars. Reading Rainbow was such a big part of childhood for many and it's great to see people like MacFarlane stepping up to continue it's legacy.

According to a Huffington Post article,

The additional donations, including from MacFarlane, will enable the format to be extended to at least another 6,000 such classrooms, according to Burton.
