Cold War 2: the Video Game Anouncement

A new video game called Cold War 2 has just been announced. Cold War 2 represents our first foray into markets other than Russia. The announcement of a game like Cold War 2 comes at a time when tensions between the United States and Russia are very high; the game assumes that these tensions escalate even further and go on to affect and polarize the rest of the world.

It's our intention to thoroughly and ruthlessly make fun of all sides of the political battlefield that encircles us. With that said, the idea for this game first came to us as way for us to express our dissatisfaction with how unjustly aggressive and invasive Russia has been.

Cold War 2 is a combination of MOBA, strategy and RPG mechanics. It's something that doesn't want to take itself too seriously, as evidenced by its inclusion of dolphin shooting machine guns and the creatively entitled Sovereign Confederate Kingdom of Florida... Cold War 2 is coming to Windows, Linux, Mac, Wii U, IOS, Android, 3DS and PS Vita first.

We are currently running a Kickstarter campaign to help raise funds to complete Cold War 2. We've set a relatively low target goal for our Kickstarter because we've already invested a lot of our own money to help make this game, and are also using some background assets and art from a previous game called Restricted Zone.

Our studio FlaPS, has existed since 2007, and now has roughly 20 employees. We've developed a number of low profile games exclusively for the Russian market, and have sold more than 5,000,000 copies of our games. As our Kickstarter video mentions, we have a unique formula of combining old computers, a sauna and plenty of vodka, which allows us to make a game unlike any other. And who can argue with that?
