kingdomcome1The folks over at Warhorse Studios posted a pretty significant Kingdom Come update today, with news that should make a number of people happy.  First off there’s news that Kingdom Come will be breaking out of its original PC holding and will be released for both the Xbox One and Playstation 4.  Head over to the update for the entire story of how Microsoft and Sony are much friendlier to independents this generation than the last, but stay for the Xbox One development kit unboxing.  Everyone loves unboxing videos, don’t they?

The next bit from the update is either less or more significant than the console news.  As time goes on it seems clear that Kingdom Come is more than likely going to hit the $1Mil funding mark, and with that a new stretch goal.  What does a million bucks get us?  A dog companion.  Laugh if you will, but anyone that’s played a Fallout game know the real value of a canine friend.

Head over to the Kingdom Come Kickstarter page to learn about Warhorses’ much talked about medieval RPG, described as “Dungeons and No Dragons.”  Be sure you also read our recent interview with the man behind Kingdom Come, Dan Vávra.
