Reverend Raven writes: The classic cyberpunk anime series Bubblegum Crisis (think Blade Runner + The Terminator + Streets of Fire) has a Kickstarter for a Blu-Ray edition and the backers are getting to help decide how the budget's allocated. It's being called CrowdProduction and it looks to be more than lip service, there's genuine discussion about production costs, logistics, technical details, etc. It looks to be a fantastic set for an awesome series (Disclaimer: I am a backer).
