Adventures of Pip Relaunches on Kickstarter

August 24th - via: cliqist.com
Back in May, we covered the first Adventures of Pip Kickstarter campaign a little bit. Personally, I was excited about the idea: an itty, bitty pixel evolving into a complete character level by level. It’s different, I loved it, and I certainly wasn’t the only one who did. TicToc Games sought for $90K to fund the remaining development for Adventures of Pip and though $35K was raised, it certainly wasn’t enough. (Read More)

Adventures of Pip Gives Kickstarter Another Whirl

August 21st - via: alwaysnintendo.com
Tic Toc Games just couldn’t let their Adventures of Pip fall by the wayside, so they’re relaunching the troubled title with another Kickstarter campaign. The new funding goal is only $40,000, a full $50,000 less than the developer’s previous asking price. The other good news here is that the Wii U version of the game is guaranteed if this new goal is met before October 4th. (Read More)

Feature: Kickstarter's Wii U and 3DS Campaigns - 2nd June

June 2nd - via: nintendolife.com
Last week's Kickstarter update brought the happy news of a rather decent-looking title getting funded for Wii U, while some new titles joined the roster. Minimalism is in: The Adventures of Pip

May 19th - via: thebitpulse.com
We were enchanted by the concept of the Adventures of Pip. Feature: Kickstarter's Wii U and 3DS Campaigns - 12th May

May 12th - via: nintendolife.com
It's that time again when we provide updates on a batch of Kickstarter projects currently doing the rounds for Wii U and 3DS. It seems that there's some momentum around the Wii U eShop, in particular, as we're consistently being pointed to fresh projects that have included Nintendo's home console in their funding targets. As always this focuses on existing projects, so those already funded or otherwise aren't included. (Read More)

Ex-WayForward Staffers Launch Kickstarter Campaign for Adventures of Pip

May 11th - via: dualshockers.com

Adventures of Pip planned for Wii U and Xbox One

May 11th - via: destructoid.com
Some of the developers responsible for the original Shantae and Wayforward's A Boy and his Blob are burning up Kickstarter with a thing called Adventures of Pip. It's the story of a single square who evolves into a full, 16-bit style character in his quest to save the world. Screenshots don't quite do the game justice, as a big part of the visual hook comes from recreating traditional "sprite art" with each individual pixel represented by a stand-alone object. That soundtrack by Jake "virt" Kaufman doesn't hurt either. (Read More)

Adventures of Pip takes you from single pixel to dashing hero

May 8th - via: joystiq.com
It seems like gorgeous, pixel art, side-scrolling actions games are just raining from the heavens these days. Adventures of Pip is the latest to join the party, adding a fun twist to the typical pixel art formula: An evil queen has stolen all of the kingdom's pixels, reducing all of its citizens to single pixels, "the lowest rung of the social ladder," according to developer TicToc Games. (Read More)

Adventures of Pip follows one pixel's journey to become a hero

May 6th - via: destructoid.com
As long time videogame enthusiasts, we have seen graphics evolve slowly over time, with character sprites becoming more and more detailed as time went on.
