Radial-G : Racing Revolved – Kickstarter Post-Mortem Part 1
August 5th - via: vrfocus.com
Few Kickstarter campaigns see as much of a commitment from its creators as Radial-G developer Tammeka Games. Over the course of a month from 3rd July – 2nd August 2014 the developer poured everything it had into trying to raise £50,000 GBP to fund development of its upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible racing title. Sadly, despite plenty of support from the VR community and beyond, the campaign fell short of expectations, leaving the team to rethink its approach to the title. (Read More)

Radial-G is Like a Virtual Reality WipEout
July 23rd - via: kotaku.co.uk
We all mourned the passing of what was once Psygnosis, back in 2012, but the spirit of what was probably its most influential game lives on. WipEout was the premier futuristic racer of the 90s. Playing Radial-G - an Oculus Rift enabled, blisteringly fast racer that's on Kickstarter right now - brought it right back to the forefront of my mind. (Read More)

Radial-G Interview | Military-Grade Arcade Racing On Oculus Rift & Project Morpheus
July 18th - via: dealspwn.com
Radial-G was one of the highlights of this year's Develop Conference Expo. Tammeka Games are currently Kickstarting an antigravity racer in the same basic vein as WipEout and F-Zero, seeking £50,000 to bring the fierce project to Oculus Rift and potentially Project Morpheus, and aren't afraid to let us try it out. Suffice to say that the hands-on prototype was intense... and yet somehow managed to throw me through twisting geometry-defying space tubes at breakneck speeds without even the slightest hint of simulation sickness. Radial G is fast, beautiful and shows mastery of virtual reality design
July 16th - via: polygon.com
Radial G places a magnetic craft on a tube that snakes around a futuristic cityscape, and the effect is remarkable. You move to the left or right as the world screams by your canopy, trying to hit the green nodes that increase your speed while avoiding the red areas that slow you down. (Read More)
Radial-G Just Earned Itself a Spot in My Oculus Rift Demos Folder (video)
July 16th - via: roadtovr.com
As a fan of the Wipeout series, I absolutely had to try Tammeka Games’ Radial-G, a low-grav arcade racer with Oculus Rift virtual reality support. While I’ve long enjoyed the frenetic action-packed racing of Wipeout, could a similar title work in VR—with a cylindrical track no less—without also being a vomit simulator? I was delighted to find out that Radial-G is not only fun in virtual reality, but it somehow dodges simulator sickness with the same ease that its ships hover above the track. (Read More)

Radial-G Gives F-Zero and Wipeout Fans the VR Ride They've Been Waiting For, Kickstarter Now Live
July 3rd - via: roadtovr.com
If I were to say I liked the original Playstation game Wipeout, it would be disingenuous. I adored it! Back when ‘next gen’ consoles really delivered genuinely groundbreaking home gaming experiences, Wipeout lead the charge of 3D gaming that managed to make gaming cool. Its cutting edge visuals, thumping soundtrack and seriously challenging gameplay delivered a zero g racing rush that for me was only bettered with the advent of it’s PS3 offspring Wipeout HD. Radial-G hands-on: the sci-fi Oculus Rift racer with echoes of F-Zero
July 3rd - via: pcgamer.com
Radial-G’s tagline promises ‘racing revolved’, which is a rather clever way of saying, “the tracks in this futuristic hover-racer are cylindrical.” Hey, works for me. From newly established Brighton-based company Tammeka, Radial-G sees dozens of players thrust boosters over weird and wonderful alien worlds. (Read More)
