Save Some Planets In Your Birthday Suit with Cosmochoria

September 26th - via: cliqist.com
We’ve talked about Comosmochoria a fair amount since its Kickstarter campaign launched back in March. The games’ cartoonish visuals, adorable protagonist, and planet saving gameplay has always been intriguing to us. Since the game was funded to the tune of nearly $30,000 the developer has been hard at work putting the final touches on it, and now it’s time to see what we’re left with. While the game won’t be released until September 29th, wanted to give you an idea of what you can expect. Enjoy! (Read More)

Space Shooter Cosmochoria Lowers Wii U Kickstarter Stretch Goal To $25,000

April 16th - via: nintendolife.com
Kickstarter projects are rarely without their changes somewhere along the line. Stretch goals can be added, new features can be implemented and fan response or criticism can even have an impact on the final release. During our last Kickstarter round-up we wagered that the amount of funding needed to see quirky shooter Cosmochoria on Wii U made it an unlikely release at best. As of today, however, that amount has dropped significantly from $150,000 to a much more realistic $25,000 stretch goal. (Read More)

Cosmochoria Will Teach The Wonders Of Nude Space Exploration

April 1st - via: indiestatik.com
Exploration is a lost art. We tend to become satisfied with our limited discovery of the world. Over ninety per cent of the ocean remains unexplored, while space is a limitless frontier, yet our fascination with its once unfathomable distance seems to have waned in recent years. Cosmochoria taps into that fading sensation by having you restore a galaxy on its last legs through minuscule actions. (Read More)

Cosmochoria Lands Its Naked Butt on Kickstarter

March 28th - via: hardcoregamer.com
Cosmochoria hit Steam Greenlight a couple months back and, after a bit of hands-on time with the demo, revealed itself to be a lovely bit of arcade action. It balances the peacefulness of planting trees on small 2D planets to bring them back to life with the fast-paced shooting necessary to survive waves of flying saucers dropping little blobby aliens on you. It starts off a bit slow but once you’ve used the crystals enemies drop to buy a few permanent powerups, like faster planting time and a more powerful gun, you can start jetpacking through space at a decent speed, using plants to bring back color to the drab and lifeless planets that make up the galaxy. (Read More)

Cosmochoria Brings Naked, Gardening Astronauts to Kickstarter

March 28th - via: indiegamemag.com
Cosmochoria is a mix between old-school arcade games, and somebody’s wacky dream about saving the galaxy. Players control a naked cosmonaut equipped with a jetpack, a blaster, and a backpack full of seeds. Their mission is to plant seeds on the surface of foreign planets, defend them from space-monsters, and fly around a 2D galaxy. Created by first-time game developer Nate Schmold, Cosmochoria is already shaping to be a quirky space adventure suitable for anyone with a beating heart, and today Schmold launched a Kickstarter to help fund his full vision. (Read More)

Cosmochoria Jets onto Kickstarter

March 28th - via: noobfeed.com
This month we've been all about Cosmochoria, an indie game from Canadian developer 30/30. The colorful game "is a love letter to old-school action / arcade games like Asteroids, Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong." Players control a little, naked cosmonaut who exists to restore an alien infested galaxy before it’s lost forever. He fly's between planets, shoots aliens and plants seeds all in the hopes of seeing life restored in a sad, desolate galaxy. (Read More)
