Make My MMO: May 18 - May 24

May 24th - via: massively.joystiq.com
This week's MMO crowdfunding news was dominated by a familiar trio of gamemaking heavyweights as well as an upstart studio bent on updating the magic of Ultima Online. Star Citizen announced a date of May 29th for its dogfighting module Arena Commander thing, while fellow space sim sandbox Elite: Dangerous released its Alpha 4 client, posted a new progress video, and targeted the end of May for its next major release. (Read More)

It’s kind of a pessimistic read this week, I’m afraid. But don’t be put off – there’s fresh blood in there too, new hopefuls with sparks in their eyes and a youthful spring in their step. And a great big gaping hole in their wallets. (Read More)
