Data journalism for all: Goal of new Kickstarter project

A new journalism-related Kickstarter campaign has had some traction this week with a goal of raising $32,000 to create a package of training materials for people interested in learning programming to do journalism.
The initial eight courses are expected to cover languages, tools, concepts needed for online storytelling. All together they will create a package of training material – ebook, screencasts, code repositories and forums – that can be used by individuals or within news organizations. (Read More)
